George Lusk was the president of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee, a group of men and women that patrolled the streets of London at night in a desperate attempt to capture the notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper.

Mr. Lusk was also the recipient of the infamous "From Hell" letter, which included half a human kidney and read as follows;

From hell.

Fictional Information
After the disappearance of the Ripper, Lusk became increasingly plagued by feelings of self-doubt, and joined the Metropolitan Police Service to personally see to it that another monster like Jack would not slip through the fingers of the system.

As time went by, the officer quickly gained a reputation for his dedication to duty and perserverence in the apprehension of criminals. At the time Queen's Reign opens its doors to the public, Lusk gains an unprecedented promotion from officer to Chief Inspector and is stationed on the island as its effective Chief of Police.

Still haunted by the shadow of the Ripper, of whom he himself has a time or two been suspected of being, Lusk continues to be a shining example of justice in the free world, hoping that he can absolve the blight on his past; real or imagined.
